Costa del Papagayo

Mrs BB has been good all week accompanying me as I wanted to explore Lanzarote. But today she wanted to spend a few hours on the beach; it's not my scene being roasted like a turkey.

Pleach (fellow blipper) suggested Papagayo Beach which is a few miles from where we are staying. It was a long drive over rough ground and entry to the nature reserve was 3 euros per car. We weren't given a ticket so no doubt that was pocketed! We walked down to the beach from the car park to see some nudists; not our scene. Indeed, the only one's we ever see are old and wrinkies having a last throw of the dice!

There were no umbrellas or beds to hire but the location of the coves and cliffs is absolutely stunning. Well done, Pleach.

A few hours later we went to one of the bars on the clifftop overlooking Papagayo Head and enjoyed white wine and tapas. An older guy next to us was doing some watercolouring. I did get his photo but prefer the one of a chap on top of the cliff taking in the views.

Afterwards, Mrs BB continued her quest for skin cancer as I took a walk for a good hour and actually stood where the chap is in my blip picture.
A super relaxing day.
