Engadine Marathon Preparation

SwissPiper and I went up to the Marathon Village in St Moritz to collect our start numbers for the race tomorrow. There was a great atmosphere with thousands of keen skiers milling around and browsing in the many trade shows. However, it was trying to follow SwissPiper back to the car and failing miserably that I realised that my strategy of trying to ski off my recent injuries was not going to work. So off to the hospital for some X-Ray's which revealed that I had broken three ribs and broken bones in my hand (left-hand again!). So instead of starting the race I am booked in for an operation on my hand.
