The Tortoise Trainer by Osman Hamdi ,Pera Museum

I visited Istanbul Pera Museum on Sunday. I had great time with friends but I kept checking news as if I felt something dark was coming and at night another bomb was blasted in Ankara killed 37 till now. Same fake sad messages and poker faces on tv. Dramatic stories of lost lives...there is gonna be memorial ceremony in a few days and we will repeat all again on the day of next bomb who knows where is gonna be.

Info: Osman Hamdi Bey (30 December 1842 – 24 February 1910) was an Ottoman administrator, intellectual, art expert and also a prominent and pioneering painter. He was also an accomplished archaeologist, and is regarded as the pioneer of the museum curator's profession in Turkey. He was the founder of Istanbul Archaeology Museums and of Istanbul Academy of Fine Arts  known today as the Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts.
