La Sagrada Familia
I'm grateful for the chance of seeing one of the greatest masterpieces in the world.
I've seen lots of monuments, towers, chapels and cathedrals until now. But none of them had amazed me like this. We used the subway to get to the cathedral. That moment when I exited the station and outcrop, I came across with a gigantic masterpiece and there were bulldozers around. The cathedral is really interesting from both the inside and the outside. As I remember, there were incidents from Bible craved outside the walls such as "The Last Supper". But what amazed me the most was the inside. The other cathedrals and chapels that I've seen always had more details on the floor and the ceilings were plain. But Gaudi designed Sagrada Familia with cravings on the ceiling and they were really amazing. I couldn't stop staring at them. It was really interesting like he wanted people to never stop looking up. Also the stained glasses were painted with really vivid colors and they transmitted the light amazingly. The photo belongs to one of those stained glasses actually.
