Early Morning Milky Way

One of the great things about our new home is its somewhat isolated position up on the hill, away from any lightspill. So this morning as I was just about to jump in the car and drive to Christchurch for my specialist appointment I decided to point my camera eastward to capture the Milky Way before the daybreak.

As I suspected , I will be having surgery in a few weeks and again I'll be having a bone graft and will be in a leg brace for 8 weeks.... Ah well!
