No right turn

Somewhat tiring day at the unit, and I hadn't got organised enough to have a morning run. On the way home I called in at Grey Lynn shops to collect the mail, and while waiting for the lights to change to permit pedestrians to cross, I took this photo.
Heading west along Great North Road, there is no right turn into Williamson Avenue. Thinking of the demographic changes in the central city, it's a bit late for that sentiment. The old electorates of Auckland Central and Grey Lynn have been united into a new Auckland Central electorate, and whereas both the old electorates were Labour voting, the new seat is held by National (NZ's Tory-Lite party).
Despite my dislike of the financier approach to Government of Mr Key and the National Party, at last they don't advocate the extremes we hear coming from Republican candidates in the USA. Especially Mr Trump.
My bewilderment at the support he is getting was neatly put into words by Young L. At not long turned 8 years old, my grandson said to his mother:
"When you grow up you just have to follow your honestest hopes and not just do things because someone shouts at you with all of your fears. Like, who would vote for that guy?"

Tonight's photo was taken with the Nikon, which (while still playing silly b....s with me) is working as is also shown with a photo taken last night of the crescent moon. In extras.
