Cap Of The Day

At any given time, I have a favorite cap that I throw on to run out to the barn so I don't come home smelling like horse.

Last summer my favorite was a red cap that I bought at Phantom Ranch at the bottom of the Grand Canyon after the hike from hell through "the box" in 100 degree heat. I was so busy taking pictures that I literally forgot to drink or eat and barely made it to the Ranch, not to mention out of the Canyon without a lift. I actually asked what it would take to get an air lift. My guide, one of the handsomest men on the planet at the time, said he would kindly carry me, horrors, before I would get an airlift. Me and my red cap made it out.

This is my current favorite. Belongs to Ron, but I have commandeered it because it does look really good on me.
