Boatmen

Today we had a walk at Wicken Fen.

There were boats out on the river. We saw horse riders, bike riders and dog walkers. The herd of Konik ponies looks massive, they are clearly flourishing. We peered in both ponds at the dragonfly hut and the 'dragon man' on duty invited us to a dragonfly safari in two weeks time, weather permitting. That sounds quite fun, to me.


These two were hard at it on the boat repairs. As you can see, we had sunny intervals with a stiff breeze and yes, the washing is out on the line.
