oh I've really missed this. having the back door open because it's warm enough. I know it won't last but this was a chink of light at the end of the winter tunnel today.

I walked over to mums to feed the cats...with no jacket on. it was warm. I was followed by an over-enthusiastic alsatian puppy called ellie on the way home and a farcical 20 minutes of her owner trying to catch her ensued. I think I was the only one finding it funny...but I suppose the owner was worried about her annoying the horses in the field. she was having a great time being chased.

home to watch scotland beat france in the rugby and make the kids favourite meatballs for them coming home. great to have them all home.
