In the open

The Alps in winter is an interesting choice for the launch of a new convertible. Thank goodness for a luxury cabin with wind deflector, heated seats, heated steering wheel and a weather-resistant hood that can be raised or lowered rapidly while the car is moving. Just as well, with snow about a metre and a half thick in Courchevel where we have driven for an overnight stop. Open top cars are very popular in the UK, so Land Rover should do very well with its Range Rover Evoque Convertible.
