Lovely, long day

Today has been utterly wonderful but slightly odd in that it feels like it's lasted for ever!

I woke at 6.15 and when I looked out of the window it looked like the middle of the day. It totally threw me for the rest of the day though. Did loads of pottering and had a delicious breakfast and unblocked a sink and by the time it was time to go to church it felt like lunchtime.

Church. Big shop. Lunch. Recycling. Walking. Strawberries. Sunshine. And it was still only 3.30.

Anyway, it's been a glorious, Spring like day and the quarry was bustling with activity and everybody seemed eager to be outside for the first signs of sun and warmth.

It's been a glorious weekend. Now for a very early night.
