Elvaston Park
We went for a walk around Elvaston Castle, gardens and parkland today. It's been a long time since we last went and it has fallen further into a state of dereliction. It is a magnificent listed building with grounds that if owned by the NT would be revered but instead its owned by Derby Council, who do what they can but it's not enough. It is still a very popular place and today was packed with families enjoying the spring weather.
Unusually for me I turned this parkland shot to mono as it had little co;our to offer anyway.
