Sheepy Sunday
A busy photo best viewed in large, with Breagh far left flanking the sheep Pip in the middle walking on and the sheep running up, the runner ducks also in the field, plus the farmhouse, self catering cottages and sheds! A typical farm scene? Sorted out some sheep today so all last years lambs both male and female that we have kept are together on one hill. The old ewes and gimmers (first time lambers) are now on the in bye. The tups (rams) are back out to their field and the main lot of ewes are in the hill park and will move to the in bye for lambing in a weeks time. Plus said sheep got some treatment for liver fluke and a footbath. So just a quiet sunday.
We also went to set out some trail cameras to see if any deer can be spotted in a fenced off tree plantation for a neighbour. Looks like my week is booked up on gathering too. This is where I will realise how unfit I am!
14c sunshine with very occasional showers.
