The Oak

In search of another lost Kent pub , the The Oak at Mile Oak but the sun was a bit too bright and in the wrong place to feature the pub.  It was open as a pub from 1841 to 1938 according to pubhistory.com . It's now a private residence and I have put it as an extra for interest with the overexposed (by the sun) Mr P trying to cross the road after having a peek.  This was the scenic walk to the old pub through well pruned orchards . Need to check the state of the two apple trees in our garden.
