Spring Crocuses

.... or Croci  if you prefer.

Although it is only a week since we had snow, it really does feel like spring is in the air. The spectacular carpet of Crocuses on the Stray is probably at its best right now. The extra was taken from almost exactly the same spot.

(According to the Oxford English Dictionary; Crocuses, or Croci are equally acceptable when referring to the plural, although the former is more widely used.)
