Lagoon

Took a wander down to the beach this evening, needed a blip and some sea air.  I've often admired this old (& derelict) fence as it goes through the water and the reflections in the calm water, tonight the sky gave some colour and form as well.

Made some progress in the garden this morning - the Autumn cleanup has begun.

Very excited and chuffed to learn this morning that I have been awarded the "Best New Zealand Natural History Projected Image Geoff Moon Trophy & PSNZ Gold Medal" for one of my entries in the Photography Soc of NZ national competition, along with four acceptances both in Nature and Open.  Woohoo!!  
And friend and blipper Megl also got a gold medal in the Open section. Yay!!
