An interesting article about the rise of the English language in Asia. however, what I was particularly interested in was the concept that speaking English alone will not be enough to bring prosperity to individuals or nations. Instead the ability to understand and communicate accurately with purpose and audience in mind is what will really count in the teaching of English.
