Malcom Willson Rally

Early start this morning for a drive up to Grizedale Forest to watch the rally.Light rain most of the way through it but great day.
Decided to stop at the steam railway in Haverthwaite but it was closed.Forgot how heavy two DSLRs are.
The main picture is a Mk2 Escort and the extra is a  MK1 which was my first car.
A few of the cars had some knocks and scrapes only saw one broken down which was a Lancia (Italian so no surprise there then) but the vintage rear wheel drive cars were the most exciting to watch.

I wonder how long we will be allowed to enjoy these events before the green politically correct idiots put a stop to it.

Foggy first thing but a mainly dry and overcast day at home.

P.S.I will catch up and comment very soon need to go and soak my aching back.
