A Walk in the Park

Middle daughter and I spent a very happy afternoon in Trent Park.

There were many remnants of Autumn to be seen this afternoon as we saw lots of little brown leaves clinging on to their branches.

There were also lots of little buds in abundance which herald the onset of Spring :)

There was an even greater abundance of mud - the thick squelchy variety. Sometimes I felt as though I was with a five year old as welly boot clad daughter enjoyed the sound of squelching when the mud held onto her boots.

I'm glad I'm not a dog owner - we saw so many muddy dogs. Very, very muddy dogs!
