Mirage...

Salisbury Cathedral floated loftily above the Watermeadows, early this morning, a sea of mist lifting it aloft, high above the reed beds.

No sunrise as such but within minutes, a pea-souper enveloped everything and I could barely see anything, let alone the Spire.
