Morning call

My chaffinch friend still stays close by. Now he has taken to waking me up at sunrise! I say 'he' because I'm told that his not very slight problem is that he is mistaking his shadow in the window for another male -- whom he then tries to frighten away! 
There can't be anything more frustrating that trying to frighten away one's own shadow!
