Day 072/16. No parents at last !!

A sunny lunchtime walk along the River Itchen working off a pub lunch and we came across 3 cygnets on their own with no sign of the parents. My guess is there was that new year discussion, 'Mum and Dad, honestly, we can take care of ourselves, we don't need you around all the time, we are leaving home'.
They seemed happy enough...... 2nd picture today is the view upstream.
