Waiting

Right now I am sitting in the car, the Bug behind me, having his afternoon snooze. We are waiting to go in to C's 4th birthday party. His will be receiving from us, a minions themed dressing gown and a book on how to be a cowboy. As chance would have it, we bumped into R and C this morning, while looking for a second present, and C really wanted this dressing gown. Result!

Feeling a bit tired. I was away Wednesday and Thursday, in Hambleton, for work, then had a (stressful) networking event on Friday on morning, followed by a very hurried afternoon. 

I am truly terrible at networking. I mumble and squirm, stumble through half-baked sentences, exude awkwardness, apologise repeatedly, and tell everyone what we can't do, instead of what we can. Especially when I am unprepared. And that I was.
