Trek-4-Timor

We spent the day listening to some inspiring speakers at the Rotary Conference.

Most were young people who have achieved quite amazing things from building schools in Africa to working with refugees in some of the most troubled parts of the world.

This is Libby, a Rotarian from our own Blackheath club, who has established a youth refuge in East Timor.
She is just completing an 8 day walk from Sydney, much in temperatures in the high 30s, as a fundraising venture and was met on the steps of the Convention Centre by the Timorese Ambassador.

Tonight's dinner was held at the Australian Institute of Sport and we were asked to dress as a sportsperson.
