Synod breakfast

Today we popped into Chelmsford a Cathedral just before Diocesan Synod started. For those who aren't sure what Synod is, it's a bit like church parliament with representatives discussing the rights, wrongs, possibles, maybes, what ifs, howevers & not sure's of church policy and practice. The word synod comes from the Greek "synodos" meaning assembly, meeting or gathering. And serving breakfast to the gathering representatives were these delightful people, some of whom are advisers, educationalists & councillors ....... and great hosts.
