Kangaroo

Yesterday jimjamjames blipped K for kangaroo. As a big fan of Blip snap (and perhaps the only active player?) I promised to seek out our own, very similar, stuffed toy.

Ours belongs to my husband. As you can see, it's suffered a bit over the years and is now minus its baby and ears. My husband's Great Auntie Winnie came back to the UK to visit in the 1960s. She brought the kangaroo over as a present for her great nephew.

Update

Extensive forensic investigations reveal that the baby was cruelly snatched from her mother by an evil kidnapper. The same character is also believed to have chewn off the kangaroo's ears. The perpetrator of these crimes was an innocent looking collie dog called Brie. He is believed to have been active in the Bristol area between circa 1973 and 1984.
