Dingo puppy

Today we went to an open day at the Dingo Discovery & Research Centre near Gisborne (we went last year as well). They breed pure dingos and each winter have several open days when you can go and see their new puppies and find out all about the dingo in Australia (you have to book).

Dingoes are so beautiful! The children love playing with the puppies, who are bred for wildlife parks and zoos around the world. You can buy them to keep as a pet too, but they need very escape proof runs and bond strongly with their 'owners' and are wary of anyone else.
