Bathin' Robin

"Tweet, tweet, tweet, twiddle-dee."

After 1117 consecutive Blips it's difficult to come up with something new but I've never photographed a robin doing its ablutions before. After a frosty and misty start, which I captured, we had some lovely sunshine. I was surprised that I couldn't find any bugs on the ivy. As I was leaving for the post office I spotted Robin Redbreast having a bath. I got a couple of shots with my macro lens then went indoors for my 100-400mm. He was still repeatedly dunking himself when I came back outside and looked like he was thoroughly enjoying it.
