And we're off!!

The 2016 moth trapping season has officially started!
I ran the Moth trap last night and caught 3 moths ;-) 1 Hebrew character and 2 Common Quaker. 
Today's blip is the Common Quaker moth Orthosia cerasi, a common species throughout Britain flying in a single generation in March and April. 
I quite like this variable little moth, it signifies the beginning of a lot of fun!
