Seagulls

I spent part of the day at the hospital with my friend & her husband, as she's gradually "losing ground"--so  say the doctors. It's heartbreaking, as her blood pressure is dropping in spite of the IV infusion to try to keep it up. Her oxygen level keeps falling, in spite of receiving 100 % oxygen via the ventilator, & her heart rate is all over the place. 
I stopped at the Lakefront for a quick picture on my way home; it's amazing how tired out you can get from just sitting, although I think it's more of an emotional drain than physical.
