Derelict building, Burton Dassett

A lucky detour to avoid the horrendous Banbury roadworks took me past this derelict barn near Burton Dassett. Even luckier, there was a lay-by right next to it. My luck ran out when I heard an ominous buzzing as I stood snapping. I looked down and there was a swarm of something angry and stinging around the base of the tree a couple of feet in front of me. Wasps, I think. A few of the more irate members of the clan saw me off the premises back to my car - no stings, fortunately.
