Helloooooooo Possums!

The Family Butcher at the Oval had a bargain on sale today.  Possums for less than a pound.  99p each!  Rude not to at that price. Add roasties, broccoli, peas and swede and you've got a wholesome meal for a Friday. We do know they are called poissins really.  It was just that Hilary was so excited to tell me that we had possum for dinner the first time we had it. The name stuck. They are also known as "Coquelets" or "Spring Chickens". Really tasty.
