The beautiful 'letter box' flowers I had from #2 daughter on Mother's day are now fully open and they are looking their best - too bad we are going away on Sunday and will have to leave them behind.  They should last for a few more days so I think I'll pass them on to my young neighbour tomorrow, she's just getting over that horrid 'flu bug and she loves Lillies.

The Tulips my #1 daughter gave me are at the blousy stage so I think one more day will see them off, although I love Tulips when they sit in their vase any which way and at all angles.

It's been a beautiful day here, a lovely eerie and misty start gave way to a whole day of sunshine and work in progress in the garden.
