It's those fancy tulips again!

I was talking to a gifted amateur artist the other day who said that she didn't like tulips. She feels that they have an unpleasant "presence" and so she doesn't like to paint them or to see pictures of them. I can't agree!
I'm getting my money's worth out of this bunch as well :-))
