A Flock of Flying School Diaries?
The National Museum of Education is located in the building ‘De Holland’ on the Burgemeester de Raadtsingel 97 in Dordrecht.
Not only the building 'De Holland' is worth while a visit, so is the entire collection that consists of over 350.000 objects which are in some way related to education; from textbooks, wall-charts, ink jars, atlases, photo’s and educational films to diaries and schoolbags.
At the moment there is also a temporary exhibition of actual school diaries throughout the decades which is really fun to see (or better... read)
In the atrium of the museum they have hung a whole flock of flying school diaries as if they were birds swarming over the exhibition! So cool!
Thanks for visiting my journal today!
