Good riddance to the bad guy in the bunch. Yes, a tooth with some decay beneath the filling was deemed unworthy of being saved so was evicted from my mouth; given his marching orders so to speak. He wasn't keen to leave but was eased out of the door with the aid of about 4 syringe fulls of anesthetic, a pair of pliers and a firm grip. I did ask if he could be replaced, 'yes' came the reply, for about £1,500 for a shiny new chap implanted into my jaw! Sorry, but I would expect a full set for that sort of money I'll just live with the gap. Luckily it's at the back.
