Dark water

The lake this morning was a dark blue, with white horses from the gusting icy wind. We got up this morning and packed to leave by 10, then found that we had a 'late leave pass' so only had to be out by 2/ By the time we had said our goodbyes to the family, it was 12.
No rain at home this weekend , so luckily the creek was down and we got home fine.
I've only got 3 days work in the next 2 weeks :) and with a trip to Byron Bay in between. I'm looking forward to the break.
