Meet Porridge Oats

This little pup might be famous one day. Honest.

We visited our friend today who was well known some years ago for his cartoon characters Rhubarb and Custard which were seen on ABC and British TV when our kids were small....he is now writing a series of books which are inspired by his grandchildren. The main character has been in development for awhile but the real pup only arrived last week. The story is about a small dog who talks to the children and leads them on some adventures. He is up to book two which I saw on the computer this afternoon, hopefully the series will be published later on in the year. What fun.

I was told the pup was about the size of a rat, well it is. I think it is a "micro" foxy. Very energetic, some of the photos I have are very funny. It wouldn't stop still.

Weekend coming up. Yoo hoo. Another of our grandchildren is turning 4 on Sunday. Party time and cake coming up.
