FF11 - Day 11 March Macro

Day 11 of my March Macro challenge and finally a flower photo for Anni's flower Friday! I got a lovely bunch of flowers for Mother's Day last week and they're still going strong so I decided to take some photos of them for today's challenge....
I am still experimenting with Topaz filters and used a combination of two of them on this one....I do love the dark effects as this was a white chrysanthemum which was quite tricky to capture as it was such a pure bright white...

Hubby is going to phone BA this morning to upgrade our seats for our flights to and from Sydney which is a huge relief as my back is still playing up and I cannot sit for any long periods at all....I guess this is one of the impacts of deciding to stay off my anti inflammatory medications....I don't regret stopping them and I'm managing ok with just some occasional pain relief...
I am still feeling positive about managing my condition by changing my mindset rather than rushing to medication....it's not an easy path but I do feel better for it despite the discomfort...long may I continue!
