Friends across the sea

What a fabulous day I've had today. I headed into Christchurch to meet up with a friend from the UK who I haven't seen for 10 years. As I stood outside the art gallery waiting I wondered whether or not I would recognise her. I heard my name being called and as I turned round I recognised D immediately. She hasn't changed a bit!

We went to the newly reopened art gallery before meeting up with her daughter for an early lunch at the botanical gardens and then a wander through said gardens. We finished the tour with a trip to cardboard cathedral.
D will soon head off touring the South Island but we will meet up again later in the trip :-) Had a fab , fab time.
