The Moors

We took a trip to Dartmoor today. In theory this was to be the best day weather wise. As we left Kingsbridge, the rain clouds obscured all the local countryside, my initial thought was turn round now. After all, the enthusiasm to go for another spin in the car was somewhat lacking.

But we decided to give it a go. I mean what could be worse than visiting 4 villages and some random countryside. I was pleasantly surprised as we stopped in the beautiful villages and everyone was happy to see some stunning sights, Bovey Tracy, Haytor, Widecombe on the Moor, Dartmeet amongst others. We were extremely lucky with the weather.
