After the defining day, the not great day. Realization that the toe nail had not dropped off. Then slow realization that I'd have to go to the local medical centre to see what should be done with the offending article.

So in an approximate order here is what happened today.

Washing machine in the holiday home decides to take a stroll across the outhouse thereby blocking the door and preventing access. Nice

Eldest manages to obtain access somehow and push a mchine about twice her wait out of the doors way.

Trip to local medical centre to see about my nail. Having explained that the toe nail varnish was my daughter's idea, well it was mine actually, but that is because I'm truly on the edge, it was decided to try to let the nail grow itself, and protect the toe as much as possible for the next few weeks, no swimming, bummer.

Newly installed shower in the holiday home failes to work.

Go for a trip to the beach at Slapton Sands and realise there is tick tick tick noise when driving, hmm, yep as I thought a puncture.

Manage to get not one but two tires changed by a very amiable chap. Devon prices cheaper than Edinburgh prices.

Go for a meal at a restaurant only to find they are fully booked, on a blinking Monday! What the blazes....

That was about that.
