Mr. Cardinal

Mr. Cardinal has been frequenting the feeder regularly since the summer, but he is rather camera shy. As I was determined to get his picture, I have had the camera at the ready. For the last three weeks, it has been properly set and waiting on the table beside the window, from which I had removed the screen so I could try and catch him undetected.

Well, today when my camera was put away not ready, Mr. Cardinal made an appearance. This time he was good enough to not only wait for me, but he let me go right outside and get a little closer. He must be happy that spring is headed our way because he even shared the feeder with other birds today.
