What you waiting for? No What You Waiting for?

The Lonnie has been in Troon for as long as I have... and longer still. 

The sign on the door says "Established 1894".... and I think some of the original fittings are still there. 

One side has the Public Bar.  It has that smell about it, stale ale, and fags.   There's a cash machine just along from it, and just standing there, takes me back to drunk Fridays, and falling out the door and on to the next one. 

I brought friends to Troon from Glasgow... and being sophisticated were unused to places like this.  We went to the bar and ordered three vodka lemonades.  And both of them picked up their glasses and glugged, and nearly choked. 

1/4 Gill measures... and the lemonade is in a bottle on the bar... 

yip  straight vodka.  pah ha ha

Oh, and the Karaoke in here is legendary.
