SUNSHINE & VERTIGO

At least they had a good day for it!

Vertigo is a pretty weird phenomenon.

At eighteen I was quite nonchalant about being hauled up to the top of a 90 foot ship's mast on a bosun's chair, armed with a self-made self-lowering knot, a gallon can of white gloss paint, & a big sloppy paintbrush.

I was barefoot & hard-hatless - "Health & Safety" eat your heart out! Piece of cake :o)

These days just getting out of the bath is a dodgy operation - getting old is a hairy enough adventure...

I know it's too cold for bare feet, but I really don't get the point of their hard-hats though - what is point? Fall over 300 feet onto something hard - a hard-hat is nothing but a useless expense...
