Sea asparagus
The bronchitis virus is still winning - we are both a bit pathetic. But can't really complain as it was a lovely quiet saturday, we saw not a soul, and I spent the afternoon in the studio with the opera on the radio (Orpheus and Euridice-really fine music). Playing with some different settings (for me) on my camera. Posting this to show I actually made it down to the beach today to warm up in the sun - this is our one sea asparagus plant that grows every year right at the higher tide mark. The water is so clear- about 1 1/2 inches here- It makes a nice salty ingredient for a salad, or even sautéed in butter.... (tonight we had kids' macaroni and cheese - bunny pasta - can you believe it?)
Well I even didn't take a nap today so it's early to bed..... tomorrow will be better, I just know it!
