The empty road

I cycled from Grasmere to Keswick, making the most of the route that takes you over Dunmail and along the eastern side of Thirlmere; the road is still car-free whilst work continues to restore the A591. The sun shining on the still lake in the early afternoon was just magical, especially as it was cloudy and cold again by the time I was back in Grasmere.
