Camouflage

Apologies to all you who remember the Eighties and are now thinking of this.

You'll need to look pretty closely to find the subject of today's Blip.  It's just at the edge of the water and the reeds. It's a Bittern in Englisch & eine Rohrdommel auf Deutsch.

When they feel threatened they stand still and lift their heads straight up - I reckon they'd be impossible to spot if they didn't move (which is how I saw this one).

Another long day at work, with just enough going wrong for other people to make it interesting.  I'm really enjoying my job.

Having said that, I'm really pleased that it's Friday tomorrow.

A more appropriate song for the bird.
