Road trip

Today we travelled 500 miles from one side of France to the other, to stay in my brother's ski chalet for a long weekend/short week.
The satnav in our car hasn't ever been updated, so the poor thing got a bit confused and tried to take us into Geneva, but luckily we realised what she was up to, and she wasn't too pleased to be thwarted!
We knew that we were only half an hour or so away from our destination, Les Carroz, but she got us lost last time we came here too!
Now we are here, have dug a path in the snow to the front door, unpacked, lit the log burner, had two mugs of tea, and are watching the sunset down the valley.
