Abstract cross

10/10 and a gold star if you can guess the inspiration for my attempt at an abstract blip today - a very mundane subject that caught my eye in the morning sunshine.

Last night I received the phone-call I'd been expecting/dreading for more than a year: lovely old Lara had taken a turn for the worse and been put out of her misery. She was such a good companion and one of the best-behaved dogs (out of 30) I've had the pleasure of looking after.
